it is 11:54 am and i am sleepy . i woke up at 9 am because SARAH NG jumped on me while i was blissfully asleep . yes , she's here , safe and armed with alcohol . waking up at 4 am is not human ; but for sarah we did it anyway . because if anyone can whine , it's that woman . she can whine about sleeping in the living room , she can whine about not getting picked up , she can whine about the cold and practically everything and anything , DESPITE the fact that we did have legit reasons for not going:

• no one wakes up at 4 am .
  
• the cab ride there is $50 one way and neither one of us is loaded .
  
• it is not difficult to get to our house ; we live in the freaking city .
• she landed at 5 am , 'nuff said .
  

thankfully , kennethzzz is awesome and even borrowed the BIG ORCHID to pick her up . P was just too excited to sleep so he came along for the ride too .

wo moseeed on back to the apartment and then none of us could go back to sleep ( except kennethzzz , who went back to his place to crash ) so it was the introductory breakfast at degraves .


i can't really remember exactly WHERE we had breakfast because it was too early AND too cold .

and it is somewhat of a minor thrill to arrive at little cupcakes when not even the frosting is on .

we were so tired after breakfast BUT couldn't sleep . sam's last minute replacement was a complete ass and didn't bother calling her to tell her she couldn't make it . as a result , sam and to rush to work at the last minute and well , the faux neck-cramping colleague GOT FIRED . rah and i took to the streets of melbourne where a fury was unleashed at supre ( $211 to be exact ) . i think after all that action we were ready to fall asleep on our feet and so we decided against having dinner out - girls night IN with home made pita pizzas and yenson's soya milk .

those two , eat like mice ; sam only ate the toppings and sarah ate half of the pizza and the remaining toppings from the other half . I FINISHED THE WHOLE THING AND WAS SO HAPPY . : D

flannel is so ridiculously warm and made me want to fall asleep during class . i say bring on the chill , i'm all prepared .

speaking of these spartans , i wore them to class yesterday and i guess melbournians just don't get bright + shiny . i got the most jaw dropping reaction from a guy in my linguistics class ( according to claire , he did a double take and just stared as a i walked in ) and the folks on the tram were staring at them quizzicaly , like they didn't quite get them . it's okay though , i promise to make sure that james lillis is a household name because i like the work that he's doing and i want him to keep doing it . hopefully when he's all famous and being stocked at belinda and cactus jam he won't forget the original groupies who supported and gushed about his amazing-ness .

i forgot to mention this yesterday BUT i drove for the first time in heels . completely scary and i thought i was going to over accelerate because i couldn't really feel the pedals . in the end i survived but i think more practice is in order .

yesterday i was feeling really down and under ( no pun intended ) and completely was not in the mood to prance around in my spartans . what exactly are spartans you ask ? if you're not following the down low over here , then you are missing out . anyway , since winter is literally on my doorstep and banging hard , i figured that these'll help me get through the coldest of days very stylishly . we seem to have completely by passed autumn and headed full on into winter .


i know you're thinking how could i ever wear a crop top out if it is as cold as i say it is , BUT i wore a really thick jacket with it AND with these spartans , i would never insult them by wearing just any old skivvy .

oh ! how i wished my pins looked like the model wearing them on his site ( she's 6' 2" ) but unfortunately they're nothing like hers . also , they're very well made ( which i am so grateful for ) but very delicate and since he sent me a note saying that i can't " dig my fingers into the gold and yank ( horror of horrors ! how did he know that's exactly how i put on my tights ?! ) it up when putting them on " , it took me awhile to put them on this morning .



now i don't really have the money but . . .
