cindy + nana turned 21 last friday and almost everyone turned up at butter to join in the fun . it was unbearably warm but the music was awesome possum and the crowd was mostly wild . it was a bummer that the members queue was longer than the paid queue ; it almost made us want to pay - almost .

kow's birthday had too much food and not enough people . winning 11 is the worst game invented but ban luck more than made up for it . cny is just about winding down and i couldn't be happier . :D

post reunion dinner + wedding game + shower , i'mma feeling supremely refreshed . it's been awhile since i've updated but there's no time like the present !

couple of days before the celebrations i popped by chai ner town with rah and thefam to pick up goodsies like kwa chee and preserved plums . rah and i experimented with duck parts ( read : neck , beak , tongue , tail , etc . ) which was completely disgusting but we had such a laugh . harrassment at chinatown because of her giant ang kong ; including the uncle who owned the duck parts' store who would not stop talking about the permanance of tattoos . -_- . we ventured around and picked up some bling and finished with the girl getting those china stone stamp things .

friday night we celebrated shark's pre-birthday at zouk together with armin . obviously it was crazy . the good : we hugged , we kissed , we cried and sarah threw her hands in the air and said " finally ! it's about bloody time i get to go for a manicure with the both of you ! " hear , hear , i said ! the bad : poor adri got bruised and battered in her independent attempts to find us on the dance floor ; i spent more time getting elbowed in my ribs than enjoying armin ; half of the crew couldn't get in to phuture . shark seemed to be drowning in the alcohol infested waters . . success ! : D

i'm sitting at starbucks alone . i have no friends ( they're either sick , working , dead or dying ) and my family has forsaken me ( well , not really ; but i like to be melodramatic. people rarely are anymore ) . i am sitting here in the sweltering heat feeling dionnie's frustration at the lack of power sockets at starbucks . but i understand that if i were a proprietor that sold coffee to cheapo folks who sponge off me by buying a cup of my over-priced beverages and staying for 4 hours , i wouldn't want to pay for the electricity use that they chock up even if it promises me their continued patronage . then again , death to starbucks because my battery is almost dead and i've got nothing to do after my mac dies .

there's a cute man-man ( i mean old with ghetto glasses and the mannerisms of an ah - pek to the max ) reading a book that's wrapped in LV paper . how bloody awesome is that .

i'm kind of cheesed off that i've got so many bloody errands to run on some days and absolutely nothing to on other days . i need to learn to spread out my activities so i'm not such a major chucky-chesse-stuffed-loser .
